The Threat of Deportation

A quick perusal of my entries on this blog has indicated that I have not yet explained what my immigration status has been since I moved to the UK with my family five years ago. A few weeks ago I was invited to a massive joint birthday celebration in Disneyland Paris. After thinking about it, I realised with the sort of horror one realises when one is trying to deny something that has a very real chance of happening, that I might not be legally allowed to live in this hemisphere by then. My invite acceptance status is thus currently “maybe”.

There are three things in this world that I feel are literally 100% bad. As in, there is not even the tiniest amount of good in them – cancer, bullies, and nausea.

Fat discrimination is kind of like bullying, except primary schools are not devoting time and energy and money towards zero tolerance of fat discrimination policies.

Our Children Are Colourblind (and we should ABSOLUTELY try to keep them that way).

Sometimes when I can’t sleep, I’ll be watching YouTube videos and eventually gravitate towards some of my old favourites. This evening/early morning, it was the React videos, by the Fine Bros. After watching YouTubers react to Best Song Ever, Teens React to Blurred Lines and Kids React to The Beatles, I got to Kids React to Controversial Cheerios Commercial.
